I arise today with God’s strength to direct me,
God’s wisdom to guide me,
God’s eyes to look before me,
God’s ears to hear me,
God’s word to speak for me,
God’s hand to uphold me,
God’s pathway before me,
God’s shield to protect me,
God’s host to save me –
From temptations,
From one man or many
That seek to destroy me.
