Confirmation in the Faith
Confirmation celebrates the coming of the Holy Spirit.
The Sacrament of Confirmation is administered in the parish annually to the children in Year 6 of the Divine Word Primary School.
Preparation for Confirmation is undertaken in a collaborative programme involving the School and a Parish-based Group of parents of the Confirmation candidates.
Preparation includes class work in School, regular services in the Parish Church and a Retreat Day.
Adult Confirmation can be arranged for persons who for any reason did not receive the Sacrament. For further information on Adult Confirmation please contact the parish office.
